Girls School Inter-House Competition Spring 2019

Wednesday morning, saw the girls school hold the Final of the Inter-House Performing Arts Competition. This was in a new format this year and featured performances from the girls in the Strings, Piano, Voice, Other Instruments and Acting alongside X Factor groups and House Song performances.
Our external judges, Philip Millward, Head of Music at Royal Russell School and Paulus, from BBC 1’s All Together Now were highly impressed with all of the girls performances.
The results are as follows:
Strings winners – Beatrice (Nightingale) and Jessica (Nightingale)
Piano winners – Mia (Keller) and Olanna (Keller)
Voice winners – Namratha (Nightingale) and Matilda (Keller)
Other Instruments winners – Soraiya (Parks) and Sahana (Seacole)
Acting winners – Amritaa (Nightingale) and Naima (Seacole)
X Factor winners – Sumayya (Parks) and Desai and Ilaria (Keller)
House Song winners – Seacole
The winning house overall was Nightingale with 51 points.
Huge congratulations to all our girls, as each and everyone of them played their part this morning and thank you to our wonderful judges for their time, insightful comments and advice!
