Admissions Process

There is a different way. The Cumnor Way.

Apply for a place at our exceptional school and put your child on the path to a fantastic educational experience. We have designed our admissions process to be as easy as possible and we will happily guide you every step of the way.

Easy 6 step process
1
Get in touch

Give our Admissions Team a call on 0208 660 3445 to discuss your child's needs.

Alternatively complete the enquiry form and our Admissions Team will be in touch to discuss your interest in the school.

2
Visit us

Experience the welcoming atmosphere of Cumnor House first-hand by coming along for a personal tour. Our Headteachers, staff and students look forward to meeting you to show you around and give you an insight into school life.

3
Apply

When you are ready to take the next step, simply complete the online application form and a fee of £100 (non-refundable). This will enable us to review your application to ensure that we can meet your child's needs.

4
Book a taster day*

This is a great way for your child to meet their classmates and our teachers while we assess their capabilities and behaviour. *Applies to school age children only.

5
Accept the offer

Once an offer has been made to you in writing, we would ask that you return the signed documentation within seven days to confirm acceptance of a place, and pay the £750 deposit which is refunded to you when your child graduates Cumnor House.

6
Your child's first day at Cumnor House

If your child is due to start at Cumnor House there is no need to feel apprehensive about how they will settle in. You can rest assured that from the moment they arrive another child from their class will be given the role of their 'buddy' and will make sure they are never alone. Of course the teacher will also take extra special care to ensure they soon feel part of the Cumnor House family.

For children starting in our Kindergarten & Pre-School, children have two settling-in sessions prior to their first full day so they can become familiar and comfortable with their new school.
