Sport is an important part of day-to-day life at Cumnor House with competitive fixtures in all major games throughout the academic year both regionally and nationally.
Specialist staff have been carefully selected to provide children with the very best support whatever their chosen pathway.
Each school has access to excellent facilities including playing fields, indoor sports halls, a multi-use games area, netball courts and a swimming pool.

Competing in inter-school swimming galas and inter-school football, cricket and netball fixtures helps instil a deep sense of pride in our students, while teaching them confidence, patience and to aim high.
We are proud to see so many of our students celebrate success or qualify as finalists at national championship level, county level and regional level across a range of sports and athletics.

From our well-loved school Sports Day through to fixtures and competitive opportunities with other schools, we enjoy a sporting culture that is embraced by students of all ages, resulting in young people who are keen to pursue an active lifestyle when they leave us.
TERM TIME SPORTS CURRICULUM
Throughout the academic year, all children have a timetabled weekly swimming lesson in our onsite heated swimming pool. In addition, throughout the year pupils also participate in Cross Country, Tennis, Triathlon, Athletics as well as our very successful Swim Squads.
