Kindergarten & Pre-School Awarded Early Years Quality Mark
19th July 2021This national accreditation is awarded to early years providers of any size within the maintained, private, voluntary and independent sector which meet the Quality Mark Standard. Schools can gain a similar Primary or Secondary Quality Mark for their work in English and mathematics. Each Quality Mark award will last for three years, after which a renewal assessment is required. The Quality Mark for Early Years

14th June 2021What a glorious week the girls have returned to and they have really enjoyed being able to play in the sunshine and have all the space on the field on which to play. I think you will all agree that the front of the school looks super and our lovely Zecir has spent many hours preparing the ground, laying the grass and planting the flowers.

Marking Work and Giving Feedback
26th May 2021Marking work and giving feedback is a really interesting topic. Everyone has childhood memories of red pen used liberally across work, the rows of ticks that made us happy and possible rows of crosses that made our hearts sink and a comment by the teacher, “very good” or the dreaded, “See me!”. Marking and feedback is something that deserves a great deal of careful consideration about how it is done.

Girls School Inter-House Competition Spring 2019

World Book Day Roald Dahl
15th March 2019On World Book Day, Roald Dahl's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was performed by Years 3 & 4. A glittering, galloping musical which was performed with great flair and enthusiasm from our girls. We are really proud of the hard work the girls put into their performances - lots of wonderful singing, spirited acting and some rather fine galloping from our Year 3 horses!

U11 Netball league success
26th February 2019The U11 netball team have now played all of their league games and remain unbeaten. As they have won each match they have automatically qualified for the Croydon Schools Netball League Final on March 29th. Well done girls! You should be very proud of this achievement. Year Two Trip - Tower of London
26th February 2019Year Two have been looking at the Great Fire of 1666 and visited the area to expand their knowledge further. With a great visit at the Tower of London, the children 'travelled back in time', followed by a walking tour to Monument, Pudding Lane and Pepy's street, the girls' also took part in a rousing rendition of 'London's Burning!'
