South Croydon Nursery Blog

Dear Parents,

It has been an extremely busy few weeks after the Easter break, with lots of fun activities and learning taking place.

In line with our theme of mini-beasts we have started to read our new book, which is the age old favourite, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This is always a popular choice and follows on really well from our previous topic of life cycles.

The children have spent some time over the last few days looking at the amazing pictures that Mrs Saul has been showing us of the re-homed girl chicks – they have grown so big in just a few weeks, again very relevant to growing and life cycles.

We hope you have all enjoyed the room layout changes we have made over the Easter Break, the children have definitely had fun exploring and finding out where everything now belongs. It’s amazing how much bigger and spacious the rooms feel.
