We are delighted that you are considering applying for a place for your son/ daughter. Please kindly find below some guidance for admissions:

What is Included in the Fees

A wide range of trips and some extra-curricular clubs and activities and a daily hot lunch is included in the above fees.

Wraparound Care

After School Club is available at both schools at an extra charge.  It runs from the end of the school day (varies by school year) through to 6.00pm.  Children can attend After School Club at either the Boys’ or Girls’ School, whichever is more convenient.

Breakfast Club is also available at both schools at an extra charge, starting at 7.30am.  Children can attend Breakfast Club at either the Boys’ or Girls’ School, whichever is more convenient.

There is a shuttle bus provided (free of charge) to take pupils between sites before and after school.

Terms and Conditions

Fees are payable at the beginning of the term.

Please note: One term’s notice is required before the removal of a child, or in the case of year-round nursery place, the notice period is 3 months.  A term’s fees will be payable in lieu of notice.

As far as possible, fees are held for at least a year and a full term’s notice of all increases is given (usually in April).

Cumnor House Nursery South Croydon is open from 7.30am to 6.00pm for 51 weeks of the year.

Cumnor House Nursery Purley is open from 8.00am to 3.00pm term time only, in line with Cumnor House School term dates.

Early Years Funding

From 1st September 2020, all pupils aged 3+ who attend 3 – 5 days, can now claim for full 15 hours funding. 

The 15 hours Universal Early Years Funding is available to all children from the term after their third birthday up until the term in which they turn 5 years old. Please note that we do not accept the 2 year old or extended 30 hours funding.

We offer the funding to Cumnor House Nursery and Reception pupils in funded sessions per day between 8:00am-1:00pm with the maximum claim of 15 hours per week.

In order to receive the funding, each academic year, you must return the funding form along with the supporting documentation (proof of your address and a copy of your child’s birth certificate). Click here to access the Early Years Funding Form

What is Included in the Fees

Lunch and snacks are included.  A tea-time snack is offered to children staying beyond 3pm, either in the tea-time club or as part of the year-round provision.

Nappies, where applicable, are also included in the fees.

Tea-time club

Tea-time club is available for Nursery children on term time only provision, covering the hours 3.00pm to 6.00pm subject to availability. There is an additional charge for the teatime club, which will be added to your termly invoice. Meals are included in the fees.

Cumnor House Nursery is the start of the Cumnor journey for most children and there are very close links with the schools to ensure a natural transition to school life.

International fees

We regularly welcome international students from a variety of countries to join our school community. Their families choose Cumnor House because of our commitment to academic excellence, character development, global perspectives and British values, as well as our excellent exam results, senior school destinations and strong focus on wellbeing.

All international tuition fees are inclusive of lunch with vegetarian and regular international options.

* An international student is a person who is not an EEA or Swiss national and has limited leave to remain in the UK. This includes dependents on tier 1 (entrepreneur), tier 2 (general work), tier 4 (student), diplomatic and military visas, as well as those whom we sponsor on tier 4 (child) student visas. Please note these examples are not exhaustive.

Sponsored international students – tier 4 (child) student visas

Cumnor House  is part of the Cognita family of schools. Cognita Schools Ltd holds a licence to sponsor international students on tier 4 (child) student visas. Cognita’s international team will support you every step of the way through the visa process. Please note families will need to pay a deposit of one term’s fees before Cognita are able to begin the tier 4 visa sponsorship process. We also require the full year’s international fees to be settled before enrolling at school.
