Nursery Manager’s Blog – Purley – 15.03.2019
The children have had a busy couple of weeks in Nursery, where our classes continue to develop their knowledge of our book theme ‘Paco and the giant chilli plant’. They have been using beans for counting and weighing, making their own chilli plants using play dough and growing cress.
As many of you may have noticed, since we have had the new doors installed into our classroom, the children have been enjoying the free flow to our nature garden. Learning outside of the classroom has many benefits, developing a healthy and active lifestyle, and broadening sensory experiences.
World Book Day was a great success. It was lovely to see so many children and staff dressed up as their favourite book character, there are some photos on the wall in the nursery reception area, please pop in and have a look.
