Year 7 Trip to Paris - 27-30 April 2010

Year 7 enjoyed themselves in Paris last week.  They were fortunate with the weather and had smooth crossings across the Channel.   Their first stop was at the Vimy Ridge where they experienced life as a soldier in the trenches during the Second World War. In Paris, they visited many famous buildings and monuments of historical interest as well as beautiful cathedrals, museums and parks.  The boys enjoyed a boat trip down La Seine giving them the opportunity to appreciate the enchanting architecture of this wonderful city.  They enjoyed good food and had many opportunities to practise speaking French when ordering food and snacks.  A great time was had by all!
