Music at Treetops

At Treetops Nursery we take great pride in our unrivalled ability to offer a wide and challenging curriculum that provides all our children with specialist teaching within the creative aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

We are fortunate to have talented musicians on each Early Years staff team at Purley and South Croydon. This enables us to offer each child expert additional music lessons where they experience instruments being played to accompany singing times. These sessions are often a child’s first experience of live music and we believe that it contributes to the success in music teaching higher up the school. The wide majority of Cumnor House children play at least one instrument and are members of the school choir.

Our Christmas and Summer concerts are always great fun and bring our children and parents together to celebrate the learning.
